COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP WITH BESSIES ANGELS, A NON PROFIT DEDICATED TO NURTURING, EDUCATING, EMPOWERING, AND PROVIDING AFFORDABLE HOUSING TO YOUNG WOMEN WHO HAVE AGED OUT OF FOSTER CARE. EACH MONTH WE PROVIDE A MEAL TO THE YOUNG WOMEN IN THE BESSIES ANGELS PROGRAM. WE PLAN THE MEAL TOWARDS THE END OF THE MONTH FOR 10 YOUNG WOMEN CURRENTLY PARTICIPATING IN THE PROGRAM. SERVICE DAYS ARE HELD ON THE SECOND SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH AT BESSIES PLACE. PROJECTS RANGE FROM PAINTING AND CLEANING TO SORTING AND FILLING GIVEAWAY BOXES. THE JLC PROVIDED A 10,000 GRANT TO BESSIES ANGELS.
