THE OKTE USES CLIFTON STRENGTHS TO PROMOTE SELF-AWARENESS, HEALTHY LIFESTYLES, AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS AND TRAIL- SIDE COMMUNITIES. THE OKT IS LOCATED ON PUBLIC LANDS MANAGED BY THE U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS IN MOUNTAIN HOME, ARKANSAS. IT RUNS FROM THE LAKE NORFORK DAM IN ARKANSAS TO DAWT MILL IN MISSOURI. THE OKT, WHICH CONNECTS THE OZARK TRAIL & THE OZARK HIGHLANDS TRAIL TO COMPLETE THE TRANS OZARK TRAIL, ASPIRES TO PROVIDE A NATIONAL SCENIC TRAIL EXPERIENCE IN AND AROUND THE OZARKS, THE OLDEST AND MOST SIGNIFICANT AREA OF RUGGED TOPOGRAPHY BETWEEN THE APPALACHIANS AND THE ROCKIES.
