ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO RAISING THE AWARENESS OF PETS WITH DISABILITIES AND ASSISTING IN THE ADOPTION AND CARE OF DISABLED PETS.

HELD ANNUAL FUNDRAISER, TOAST TO PETS WITH DISABILITIES AT RUNNING HARE VINEYARD. HELD ANNUAL OPEN HOUSE. ATTENDED VARIOUS PET EXPOS. HELD VIRTUAL FUNDRAISERS.
WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO RESCUE 30 DOGS AND CATS AND CONTINUE TO PROVIDE CRITICAL CARE TO PETS IN NEED OF ORTHOPEDICS, CARDIOLOGY, NEROLOGY AND INTERNAL MEDICINE. THESE SERVICES ARE QUITE COSTLY BUT VERY MUCH NEEDED WITH THE ANIMALS WE RESCUE. THIS PAST YEAR WE ALSO ADDED A HOME FOR SENIOR DOGS WITH DISABILITIES. THESE DOGS LIVE IN A QUIET HOME-LIKE SETTING, SOME WILL GET ADOPTED AND OTHERS WILL LIVE THEIR LIVES OUT IN A QUIET, STRESS-FREE ENVIRONMENT. WE AVERAGE 40 DOGS AND CATS IN OUR PROGRAM ON A DAILY BASIS. WE CONTINUE TO PROVIDE MOBILITY DEVICES FOR DOGS IN NEED. WE MEASURE, FIT AND TRAIN DOGS TO USE WHEELCHAIRS. WE PROVIDED 2 HOUR COURSES TO THEIR HUMAN CARETAKES TO DIRECT THEM ON HOW TO USE AND PLACE THEIR DOG IN THE WHEELCHAIR. WE HAD 50 WHEELHAIR FITTINGS THIS PAST YEAR.
