MTAOC PROVIDES LIFE-SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING TO THE YOUTH OF OUR COMMUNITY AGES FOUR TO EIGHTEEN THROUGH OUR INNOVATIVE PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAM. MTAOC OFFERS OUR YOUTH A SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLORE AND ENJOY THE ARTS THROUGH OUR PROGRAMS AND LIVE MUSICAL THEATER PERFORMANCES. EVERYONE DESERVES THE CHANCE TO GROW INTO THE SPOTLIGHT OF THEIR POTENTIAL AND MTAOC HAS BEEN PROVIDING OUR YOUTH WITH THAT OPPORTUNITY FOR OVER 35 YEARS. WE OFFER TWO OR THREE AGE GROUPS FOR CASTING PROVIDING LEVELED OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL OF OUR STUDENTS. WE CONDUCT FOUR TO SIX MUSICALS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TWO OR THREE IN THE FALL AND TWO OR THREE IN THE SPRING WITH MULTIPLE SHOW DATES PER MUSICAL IN ADDITION TO A SUMMER CAMP THAT CULMINATES IN TWO PERFORMANCES. WE ALSO PROVIDE OUR YOUNGEST STUDENTS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN INTRODUCTORY SKILLS IN PERFORMING ARTS AND GAIN ON-STAGE EXPERIENCE DURING THE SEASONAL SHOWS.
