WADEM PUBLISHES A PEER-REVIEWED MEDICAL JOURNAL TITLED PREHOSPITAL AND DISASTER MEDICINE. WADEM ALSO PARTICIPATES IN MEETINGS OF THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION-LED GLOBAL HEALTH CLUSTER (GHC) TO DEVELOP DISASTER HEALTH POLICY AMONG NON-GOVERNMENT (NGOS) AND INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS (IOS). WADEM ALSO DEVELOPS PARTNERSHIPS WITH OTHER SIMILAR MEDICAL AND RESEARCH ORGANIZATIONS, SOCIETIES, OR ASSOCIATIONS. WADEM CO-HOSTS AND ORGANIZES THE BIENNIAL WADEM CONGRESS ON DISASTER AND EMERGENCY MEDICINE ALONG WITH A LOCAL NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION, ACADEMIC INSTITUTION, OR PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION. THE CONGRESS TAKES PLACE IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE WORLD AND ATTRACTS AN INTERNATIONAL AUDIENCE OF HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS.
