KENYA LIBRARIES 2023 A 40 FT CONTAINER OF DONATED BOOKS WAS SHIPPED TO KENYA IN APRIL OF 2023.OUR TEAM TRAVELED TO KENYA IN JUNE 2023 WITH THE PURPOSE OF USING THE BOOKS TO ESTABLISH LIBRARIES IN THE FOLLOWING SCHOOLS: EMBU COUNTY - SALVATION ARMY KYENI PRIMARY SCHOOL KIAMBU COUNTY - GATAMAIYI PRIMARY SCHOOL MUHORO PRIMARY SCHOOL AND NGECHU PRIMARY SCHOOL KAJIADO COUNTY - DEB DAY AND BOARDING PRIMARY SCHOOL BUNGOMA COUNTY - LIGHT JR ACADEMY AND LIVING HOPE HIGH SCHOOL KISII COUNTY - KEROKA DOK PRIMARY SCHOOL KITUI COUNTY - MAMOLE SECONDARY SCHOOL LAIKIPIA COUNTY - METHA PRIMARY SCHOOL LIMURU COUNTY - THIONGO COMMUNITY LIBRARY NAKURU COUNTY - KINGDOM BUILDERS CHILDRENS CENTER KIKUYU COUNTY - 8 PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF EAST AFRICA SECONDARY SCHOOLS SAMBURU COUNTY - WOMBA COMMUNITY LIBRARY.


OPENED THE LIBRARY OF THE AFRICAN NILE IN PAKWACH UGANDA. THIS LIBRARY IS FOCUSED ON THE HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE NILE RIVER FROM BURUNDI TO THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA. THIS OPENING WAS FACILITATED BY A GROUP OF 15 VOLUNTEERS WHO TRAVELED FROM THE UNITED STATES AND ARE REGULAR PARTICIPANTS IN THIS PROCESS. THE LIBRARY IS OPEN TO ALL VISITORS LOCAL AND TOURISTS.


OVER 35,000 BOOKS WERE DISTRIBUTED THROUGHOUT THE CAYO DISTRICT OF BELIZE. THESE BOOKS WENT INTO EXISTING SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY LIBRARIES THAT HAD NO OTHER ACCESS TO BOOKS.
