IN FY 2019, GATEWAY TO COLLEGE NATIONAL NETWORK PROVIDED TRAINING, DATA AND LEADERSHIP COACHING, AND PEER LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES FOR 34 GATEWAY TO COLLEGE PROGRAMS AND 4 AFFILIATES PARTNERING WITH MORE THAN 150 SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN 19 STATES. THESE PROGRAMS REENGAGE OFF-TRACK AND OUT OF SCHOOL YOUTH, AGES 16-21, IN COLLEGE-BASED REENGAGEMENT PROGRAMS, HELPING STUDENTS COMPLETE THEIR HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA, WHILE EARNING COLLEGE CREDITS. COLLECTIVELY, THESE PROGRAMS ENROLLED NEARLY 4,000 STUDENTS. IN FY19, GRADUATES OF GATEWAY TO COLLEGE PROGRAMS EARNED AN AVERAGE OF 20 COLLEGE CREDITS. ABOUT 75% OF GRADUATES HAVE CONTINUED IN POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION.GTCNN CONTINUED TO LEAD A CITYWIDE COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS INITIATIVE IN PORTLAND, OR AIMED AT SUPPORTING FOSTER, HOMELESS, AND ADJUDICATED YOUTH INTO THEIR FIRST YEAR OF COLLEGE, ADDING A SECOND SITE IN THE REGION.
