SINCE 2006, CANDY'S CATS HAS BEEN DEDICATED TO RESCUING CATS IN CENTRAL FLORIDA, ENSURING THEY FIND CARING FOREVER HOMES. EVERY CAT OR KITTEN WE ASSIST FOR ADOPTION, UNDERGOES TESTING FOR FELINE AIDS & LEUKEMIA, RECEIVES VACCINATIONS, STERILIZED, AND IS MICROCHIPPED. ADDITIONALLY, WE COLLABORATE WITH LOCAL VETERINARIANS TO ADDRESS ANY MEDICAL NEEDS AND RELY ON A TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS TO PROVIDE FOSTER CARE. DURING 2023, WE TRAPPED, STERILIZED, AND VACCINATED OVER 200 FERAL CATS IN OUR AREA, THUS HELPING TO REDUCE THE STAY CAT POPULATION. WE ARE PRIMARILY SUPPORTED THROUGH ADOPTION REVENUES AND DONATIONS WITH SOME GRANT SUPPORT. OUR EFFORTS HAVE RESULTED IN THE RESCUE OF THOUSANDS OF CATS AND KITTENS OVER ALMOST TWO DECADES.
