THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED 70 SCHOLARSHIPS FOR MIAMI UNIVERSITY STUDENTS IN THE PAPER ENGINEERING ACADEMIC PROGRAM AT MIAMI UNIVERSITY.
THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR THE FACULTY MEMBERS OF THE PAPER ENGINEERING ACADEMIC PROGRAM AT MIAMI UNIVERSITY. BY PROVIDING MATERIALS, SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT, CONFERENCE EXPENSES AND RESEARCH FUNDS FOR THE FACULTY, THE FOUNDATION ENSURES THAT THE PROGRAM REMAINS AT THE FOREFRONT OF TECHNOLOGY. THE FOUNDATION HELPS PAPER ENGINEERING STUDENTS SECURE INDUSTRY RELATED INTERNSHIPS AND EMPLOYMENT.
PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDE AN ANNUAL MEETING WHERE PROFESSORS AND BUSINESS PEOPLE CAN DISCUSS IDEAS, NEW TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATIONS NEEDED IN THE MANUFACTURING PLANTS AND OTHER PAPER SCIENCE DEVELOPMENTS. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES A NEWSLETTER, AN ANNUAL REPORT AND RECEPTIONS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR FOR TRUSTEES, ALUMI, CORPORATE MEMBERS AND PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS OF THE PAPER ENGINEERING PROGRAM AT MIAMI UNIVERSITY. THESE PUBLICATIONS AND RECEPTIONS HELP EDUCATE PEOPLE ABOUT THE PROGRAM AND GENERATE SUPPORT AND ENDOWMENTS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS AS WELL AS MAKING HIRING CORPORATIONS AWARE OF THE PROGRAM'S EXCEPTIONAL STUDENT BODY.
