WINTER CONFERENCE ANNUALLY PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION TO OHIO LOCAL GOVERNMENT MANAGERS AND THEIR STAFF; PROVIDES A FORUM FOR DISCUSSION AND EXCHANGE INFORMATION, IDEAS AND EXPERIENCE; ALLOWS FOR THE CULTIVATION OF RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS.
MEMBERSHIP NEWSLETTER IS PRODUCED AND DISTRIBUTED TO ALL MEMBERS FOUR TIMES DURING THE YEAR. IT FACILITATES THE SHARING OF IDEAS AND BEST PRACTICES. IT ALSO FACILITATES NETWORKING AND INFORMATION EXCHANGE.
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM - THE ORGANIZATION REIMBURSES LOCAL MUNICIPALITIES FOR 50% OF THE COST OF HIRING A SUMMER INTERN. THE PROGRAM HELPS DEVELOP LOCAL GOVERNMENT BY GETTING INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED AT A YOUNGER AGE.
