COMMUNITY INITIATIVES, INC. HAS ESTABLISHED VARIOUS PLATFORMS THAT SUPPORT THE HEALTHY DEVELOPMENT OF BOTH INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES THROUGH OUR PROGRAMS AT OUR FREE MEDICAL CLINIC, CLINICA GRATIS, AND THE COMMUNITY INITIATIVES NEIGHBORHOOD CENTER (CINC). OUR PROGRAMMING PROVIDES A BROAD RANGE OF HEALTH PROMOTION AND EDUCATION PROGRAMMING INCLUDING AN AFTERSCHOOL AND SUMMER PROGRAM FOR YOUTH, THE BENEFIT BANK, AND COMMUNITY FORUMS AND OUTREACH. THE SAFE HAVEN PROGRAM PROVIDES AN AFTERSCHOOL HAVEN TO ASSIST WITH HOMEWORK AND LITERACY PROGRAMS; HEALTHY FOOD CHOICES, EXERCISE, AND INTRODUCTION TO THE ARTS ARE PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS.
