Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
MTNA HOSTS AN ANNUAL NATIONAL CONFERENCE IN ORDER TO HELP EDUCATE, TRAIN AND DEVELOP THOSE INVOLVED IN THE MUSIC PROFESSION. THE CONFERENCE INCLUDES SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR MEMBER DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE IN IDENTIFIED AREAS OF THE PROFESSION.
MTNA HOSTS COMPETITIONS IN WHICH STUDENTS PARTICIPATE. THESE COMPETITIONS ARE BOTH DIVISIONAL AND NATIONAL. THE COMPETITIONS ARE DESIGNED TO SHOWCASE THE QUALITY OF TEACHING PROVIDED TO THE STUDENTS AS WELL AS TO RECOGNIZE EXCELLENCE AMONG THE STUDENT MUSICIANS.
MTNA PUBLISHES A BI-MONTHLY MAGAZINE IN ORDER TO FOSTER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH FOR ITS MEMBERS.
