THE MORTON CURE PARALYSIS FUND MCPF IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO FINDING A CURE FOR PARALYSIS CAUSED BY SPINAL CORD INJURY AND OTHER DISORDERS OF THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM. MCPF IS ALSO A COMMUNITY OF PEOPLE THAT PROVIDES INFORMATION AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT TO THOSE AFFECTED BY PARALYSIS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

PRESENTED RESEARCH GRANTS TO NINE WORLD-CLASS SCI RESEARCH LABORATORIES. THESE GRANTS WERE FOR RESEARCH PROJECTS IN THE GLOBAL EFFORT TO FIND A CURE FOR PARALYSIS. GRANTS WERE ALLOCATED BASED ON EXPERT PEER REVIEW OF ALL GRANT APPLICATIONS RECEIVED. PROJECTS WERE CHOSEN FOR THE POTENTIAL TO SOLVE OBSTACLES DIRECTLY IN THE PATH TO A CURE AND THEIR POTENTIAL TO USE THE DATA FROM THE PROJECT TO SECURE MUCH LARGER FUNDING FROM OTHER SOURCES.
