THE ELECTROCOAT ASSOCIATION IS ORGANIZED AS A BUSINESS LEAGUE TO REPRESENT THE GLOBAL ELECTROCOATING INDUSTRY BY PROMOTING USE OF THE TECHNOLOGY AND COMMUNICATING THE BENEFITS OF ELECTROCOATING TO MANUFACTURERS, CONSUMERS, AND GOVERNMENT.

IN CARRYING OUT THE ORGANIZATION'S EXEMPT PURPOSES DURING THE YEAR, THE ELECTROCOAT ASSOCIATION FOCUSED ON EDUCATING INDUSTRIES ON THE COSTS AND BENEFITS OF USING ELECTROCOATING TECHNOLOGY. THIS WAS ACHIEVED WITH THE UTILIZATION OF SOCIAL MEDIA COMMUNICATION (TWITTER AND LINKEDIN) WITH POTENTIAL MEMBERS, MEMBERS AND INDUSTRY PARTICIPANTS AND CONTENT ON OUR ELM (ELECTROCOAT LEARNING MANAGEMENT) EDUCATIONAL PLATFORM. WE PARTICIPATED IN THE POWDER COATING INSTITUTES POWDER COATING CONFERENCE HELD IN ORLANDO IN FEBRUARY. WE HOSTED 2 WEBINARS FOR THE EDUCATION OF THE INDUSTRY IN JUNE AND NOVEMBER. WE ATTENDED THE FABTECH EXPO AS AN EXHIBITOR IN SEPTEMBER IN CHICAGO. WE HOSTED A FALL BOOT CAMP FOR EDUCATION IN DETROIT IN OCTOBER. WE HELD OUR FEBRUARY BOD MEETING IN ORLANDO AND THE FALL MEETING VIRTUALLY TO DIRECT THE ASSOCIATION'S BUSINESS AND MARKETING STRATEGIES FOR THE FUTURE. THE ASSOCIATION CONTINUES TO SELL IT'S BOOK "ELECTROCOAT: A GUIDEBOOK FOR FINISHERS." IN ADDITION, THE WEBSITE CONTINUES TO BE HOME FOR ELECTROCOATING INFORMATION.
