ZUNI CHRISTIAN MISSION SCHOOL IS AN ACCREDITED SCHOOL PROVIDING A SAFE AND NURTURING ENVIRONMENT TO THE ZUNI CHILDREN. AN AFFORDABLE, WELL-ROUNDED EDUCATION IS MADE POSSIBLE BY FAMILY AND VOLUNTEER INVOLVEMENT AND DONATIONS. CHRISTIAN STAFF SHARE GODS LOVE WITH THE 91 STUDENTS IN GRADES K THROUGH 8. A 1:12 TEACHER RATIO INVITES STUDENTS TO LEARN ABOUT THEIR WORLD AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO THEIR CREATOR GOD. A TEACHER PAID BY TITLE 1 FUNDS WAS PROVIDED BY THE STATE OF NM. THE VALUE OF THAT TEACHER, AS SET BY THE STATE WAS $45,152. MANY ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEERS ASSISTED AT ZCMS DURING THE YEAR IN THE AREAS OF TUTORING, OFFICE HELP AND MAINTENANCE, ALLOWING THE SCHOOL TO SPEND MORE OF ITS FUNDS IN PROVIDING THE BEST EDUCATION POSSIBLE FOR ITS STUDENTS.
