ADVOCACY, EDUCATION, AND EMPOWERMENT TO HELP RESOLVE HOMELESSNESS IN COLUMBUS, OHIO.

WINTER WARMING CENTER PROVIDED A WARM, SAFE SPACE FOR OVER 700 HOMELESS ADULTS WITH OVER 7,000 VISITS DURING COLD WEATHER MONTHS. STAFF MEMBERS PROVIDED LINKAGE TO HOUSING, SHELTER, TREATMENT, AND OTHER COMMUNITY SERVICES.


OTHER PROGRAMS AND SERVICES INCLUDED ADVOCACY ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS, HOMELESS OUTREACH, SHOWER AND LAUNDRY PROGRAM, MATERIAL ASSISTANCE WITH FOOD AND CLOTHING, PPE SUPPLIES, AND OTHER PROGRAM ITEMS.


EDUCATION PROGRAM HOSTED SEVERAL PROGRAMS THAT REACHED OVER 400 PEOPLE WITH TRAINING AND EDUCATION ABOUT HOMELESSNESS, CULTURAL COMPETENCE, AND RELATED SUBJECTS.
