MERCY HEALTH IS A MISSION-DRIVEN, NONPROFIT, CATHOLIC HEALTH SYSTEM. MERCY HEALTH OPERATES ACUTE CARE HOSPITALS, LONG-TERM CARE FACILITIES, HOUSING SITES FOR THE ELDERLY, HOME HEALTH AGENCIES, HOSPICE PROGRAMS, WELLNESS CENTERS AND OTHER HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATIONS. MERCY HEALTH'S HOME OFFICE PROVIDES SERVICES AND SUPPORT TO THE ENTIRE SYSTEM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: PROVIDING GOVERNANCE, MANAGEMENT OVERSIGHT, STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP, FOCUSING RESOURCES TO ASSURE THE HEALING MISSION, PROVIDING ACCESS TO LOWER COST DEBT FINANCING TO SUPPORT OPERATIONS, IMPROVING CLINICAL OUTCOMES AND REDUCING OPERATING COSTS.
