THE NEW CASTLE GIRLS YOUTH SOFTBALL LEAGUE HAD 158 PLAYERS (AGES 4-18 YEARS OLD) FOR THE 2017 SEASON PLAYING ON 12 TEAMS. IMPROVEMENTS MADE TO THE LEAGUE FACILITY INCLUDE: PURCHASE OF 2 OUTSIDE METAL STORAGE BUILDINGS. REPLACEMENT OF GARAGE DOOR ON EXISTING STORAGE BUILDING. PURCHASE OF NEW JOHN DEERE GATOR FOR GROUND WORK. COMPLETED NECESSARY ELECTRICAL WORK ON CONCESSION STAND. INSTALLED NEW LIGHTING ON 2 DIAMONDS. IMPROVEMENTS AND GENERAL UPKEEP OF GROUNDS.
