CORPORATION HAS BEEN ORGANIZED TO AND OPERATES FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF THE HENRY COUNTY HOSPITAL, A COUNTY OWNED HOSPITAL IN NEW CASTLE, IN, AND OTHER FACILITIES AND SERVICES OPERATED AS NON-PROFITS THAT SERVE THE HEALTH CARE NEEDS OF THE CITIZENS OF HENRY COUNTY, IN.

MISSION:

DISTRIBUTION OF ELECTRICITY TO APPROXIMATELY 7,800 MEMBERS ON A COOPERATIVE BASIS.

THE HENRY COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION, INC. IS A PUBLIC TRUST WHICH SECURES PERMANENT FUNDS FOR PHILANTHROPIC PURPOSES. ITS MISSION IS TO HELP WHERE THE NEEDS ARE GREATEST AND BENEFITS TO THE COMMUNITY AND ITS CITIZENS ARE MOST SUBSTANTIAL; TO PROVIDE PUBLIC SPIRITED DONORS A VEHICLE FOR USING THEIR GIFTS IN THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY NOW AND IN THE FUTURE AS CONDITIONS INEVITABLY CHANGE; AND TO PROVIDE EXCELLENT STEWARDSHIP OF THOSE GIFTS WHICH IT RECEIVES.

The goal of this organization is to build, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing for low-income individuals and families, older adults and people with disabilities; or which make purchasable housing available to low or moderate income families by offering lower priced housing and/or affordable payment plans, by arranging for interest or mortgage subsidies or by involving eventual owners in the construction process (sweat equity).

The goal of this organization are the membership organizations that are engaged in promoting the interests of the veterans or active or retired military personnel who are their members.

The goal of this organization is to develop, maintain and make available to the general public recreational areas which are equipped with athletic fields and courts, campgrounds, picnic areas and a variety of recreational trails such as bridle trails, hiking trails, off-the-road vehicle trails and snowmobile trails.

The goal of this organization is to enable students who demonstrate financial need to obtain the financial assistance they require to meet their educational and living expenses while in school.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to assist in the prevention or treatment of diseases or conditions, including stroke, that affect the heart, lungs and blood vessels. The related medical specialty is cardiovascular medicine, a subspecialty of internal medicine.
