NFCA IS A PROFESSIONAL GROWTH ORGANIZATION FOR WOMEN'S FASTPITCH SOFTBALL COACHES AT ALL LEVELS. MAIN PURPOSES ARE TO EDUCATE COACHES, REPRESENT THEIR BEST INTERESTS IN OTHER SOFTBALL ORGANIZATIONS, AND TO PROMOTE THE SPORT.

EDUCATION. NO COACHES COLLEGE COURSES WERE CONDUCTED THIS YEAR DUE TO COVID-19. THEY WILL RESUME NEXT YEAR. ONE VIRTUAL COACHES CLINIC WAS CONDUCTED (31 PARTICIPANTS), 4 CAMPS WERE CONDUCTED (951 PARTICIPANTS), AND A VIRTUAL ANNUAL CONVENTION (1,527 PARTICIPANTS). MANY ACTIVITIES WERE REDUCED IN SCOPE THIS YEAR DUE TO COVID-19. THEY SHOULD BE RESTORED TO NORMAL NEXT YEAR.
LIAISON WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO DISSEMINATE AND RECEIVE INFORMATION.
PUBLICATIONS TO KEEP MEMBERSHIP INFORMED ABOUT ASSOCIATION BUSINESS, PROGRAMS, AND NEWS IN THE SPORT. SUBSCRIBERS TO MONTHLY NEWSPAPER: 5,290, ALL SENT DIGITALLY. RECIPIENTS OF CONVENTION BOOKLET: 1,527, ALL SENT DIGITALLY. RECIPIENTS OF ANNUAL TOP RECRUIT MAGAZINE: APPROXIMATELY 10,000, ALL SENT DIGITALLY.
ATHLETE AND TEAM RECOGNITION AND AWARDS TO RECOGNIZE AND SELECT ALL- AMERICANS, ALL-REGION (TOTAL NUMBER OF AWARDS: 1,734), NFCA SCHOLAR ATHLETES, AND NFCA TOP TEN ACADEMIC TEAMS (TOTAL NUMBER OF AWARDS: 8,867), PLAYER OF THE YEAR (22 AWARDS), AND 22 ADDITIONAL PLAYER AWARDS.
