TYPICALLY, CHESTERFIELD BASEBALL SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION (CBSA) HOSTS VARIOUS LEAGUES TO ASSIST IN PLAYER DEVELOPMENT AT ALL SKILL LEVELS. BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL LEAGUES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING BY AGE: * TRAINING (5-7) LEARN FUNDAMENTALS & HAVE FUN WITH FRIENDS * AMERICAN (8-14) RECREATIONAL/COMPETITIVE REC; DEVELOPMENT OF STRONG FUNDAMENTALS * SELECT (8-14) COMPETITIVE LEAGUE FOR ADVANCED DEVELOPMENTBASEBALL ALSO OFFERS A HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE (15-18) TO CONTINUE BUILDING SKILLS AT A COMPETITVE REC LEVEL. DURING THE CURRENT YEAR, 1,035 YOUTHS PARTICIPATED...(SEE SCHEDULE O) IN THE VARIOUS LEAGUE OFFERINGS.AS A RESULT OF COVID-19, PROGRAMMING WAS PROVIDED AT NO COST TO A LIMITED-NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS IN THE FALL SEASON ONLY.CBSA ALSO PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS.
