THE UNITED STATES ASSOCIATION OF BLIND ATHLETES EMPOWERS AMERICANS WHO ARE BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED TO EXPERIENCE LIFE-CHANGING OPPORTUNITIES IN SPORTS, RECREATION, AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES, THEREBY EDUCATING AND INSPIRING THE NATION. THIS MISSION IS ACCOMPLISHED BY PROVIDING SPORT OPPORTUNITIES IN 10 SPORTS FOR BLIND AND VISUALLY IPAIRED ATHLETES OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES.

HP GOALBALL - TO SUPPORT DOMESTIC TOURNAMENTS, OFFICIALS, AND THE MEN'S AND WOMEN'S NATIONAL TEAM PROGRAMS.
MARKETING AND DEVELOPMENT - TO ASSIST IN THE MARKETING OF USABA'S EVENTS AND PROGRAMS AND FOCUS ON HOW ATHLETES WERE HANDLING THE POSTPONEMENT AND PANDEMIC, AND BUILDING A VIRTUAL COMMUNITY OF SUPPORT FOR MEMBERS TO MAINTAIN PHYSICAL HEALTH IN A SAFE MANNER. DEVELOPMENT FOCUSED ON VIRTUAL PROGRAMS AND COVID-19 SUPPORT FOR THE ORGANIZATION AND ITS MEMBERS.
ATHLETE EVENTS - USABA HOSTED A SERIES OF REGIONAL GOALBALL TOURNAMENTS AND TWO WINTER SPORTS FESTIVAL ACROSS THE COUNTRY, IMPACTING OVER 500 ATHLETES. USABA ALSO HOSTED VIRTUAL PROGRAMS TO ENGAGE MEMBERS. THESE INCLUDE A NATIONWIDE FITNESS CHALLENGE UTILIZING FITBIT WEARABLES AND A SERIES OF AT-HOME WORKOUT VIDEOS FOR MEMBERS TO COMPLETE.
GRANTS - USABA EXECUTED A SERIES OF GRANT PROGRAMS ACROSS THE US AIMING TO ADDRESS SEDENTARY LIFESTYLES ON THE BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED COMMUNITIES AND GROWING THE SPORT OF BLIND SOCCER.
