THE UTAH OPTOMETRIC ASSOCIATION (UOA) IS A PROFESSIONAL OPTOMETRIC ASSOCIATION THAT WORKS TO DRIVE THE PROGRESS OF OPTOMETRY IN UTAH. THE PARENT ASSOCIATION IS THE AMERICAN OPTOMETRIC ASSOCIATION. UOA PROVIDES MULTIPLE EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR INCLUDING TWO QUARTERLY MEETINGS; TWO LARGER MEETINGS IN ST GEORGE AND MIDWAY, UTAH IN THE SPRING; AND OTHER QUARTERLY BUSINESS MEETINGS. UOA PROVIDES EDUCATION FOR ITS MEMBERS, FORUMS ON NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND DISCUSSIONS. THE UOA CURRENTLY HAS AROUND 270 ACTIVE MEMBERS.
