OUR PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE ACROSS THE US IN CONCERT HALLS, STUDIOS, COMMUNITY CENTERS, SCHOOLS, AND HOMES THROUGH PIANO PERFORMANCES AND THE PROMOTION OF INDIGENOUS AMERICAN ART, JAZZ MUSIC, AND CLASSICAL MUSIC PERFORMED BY OUTSTANDING AMERICAN-BORN PIANISTS. APA PROGRAMS ALSO BROADEN THE GENERAL PUBLIC'S KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS IN THE ARTS, PROVIDE ARTS ACTIVITIES TO UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES, AND ADVANCE THE ART FORM OF MUSIC. OUR LARGEST PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDE TWO OF THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS AND WORLD-RENOWNED PIANO COMPETITIONS, ONE IN CLASSICAL AND JAZZ, AWARDING FELLOWSHIPS TO THE WINNERS, AND GRAND ENCOUNTERS A PIANO RECITAL SERIES.
