IT PROMOTES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR COLLABORATIVE LEARNING TO ADVANCE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ALL MEMBERS. GC3 TAPS THE COLLECTIVE POWER OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN GREATER CINCINNATI TO STRENGTHEN EVERY ASPECT OF OUR REGIONAL ECONOMY, CULTURE AND QUALITY OF LIFE AND MAKE A LASTING DIFFERENCE IN EVERY LIFE WE TOUCH. GC3 SERVED OVER 230 FACULTY AND STAFF THROUGH ITS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES BETWEEN JULY 1, 2017 AND JUNE 30, 2018. THE EVENTS WERE: -POWER UP YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE - MODULE II-GROWING TALENT IN OUR REGION: CONNECTING BUSINESS AND HIGHER ED TO INCREASE INTERNSHIPS-RETHINKING TEACHING AND LEARNING SPACES: A COLLABORATIVE APPROACH-NAVIGATING TITLE IX GC3 ALSO HOSTED A RECEPTION INTENDED TO CONNECT THE ORGANIZATION WITH THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY TO PROMOTE HIGHER EDUCATION AS AN INDUSTRY AND BEGIN PROMOTING THE INTERNSHIP INITIATIVE.GC3 IS SPEARHEADING THE DEVELOPMENT OF ITEMS TO ASSIST BUSINESSES IN THE REGION IN CONNECTING WITH STUDENTS TO FILL INTERNSHIPS. THIS WILL HELP THE WORKFORCE INITIATIVES THROUGHOUT THE REGION AND CREATE A TALENT PIPELINE FOR COMPANIES IN GREATER CINCINNATI.THERE ARE CURRENTLY OVER 40 HIGHER EDUCATION AND BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS INVOLVED IN THIS EFFORT; THE DELIVERABLES WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ANYONE IN THE REGION WISHING TO ACCESS THE TOOLS ON THE GC3 WEBSITE.OVER 350 STUDENTS UTILIZED THE CROSS-REGISTRATION PROGRAM DURING THE FALL, SPRING AND SUMMER TERMS.THERE WERE OVER 13,000 HITS TO THE GC3 WEBSITE BETWEEN JULY 1, 2017 AND JUNE 30, 2018.
