ORGANIZED FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES, OWNS, OPERATES AND MAINTAINS A HOUSING FACILITY FOR LOW-INCOME FAMILIES IN A 66 UNIT APARTMENT COMMUNITY. THE PROJECT OPERATES UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 221(D)(3) OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT. THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) WAS CONTRACTED TO MAKE RENTAL ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS ON BEHALF OF QUALIFIED TENANTS THROUGH THE SECTION 8 HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS PROGRAM.
