DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED 6/30/22, THE LEGAL ADVOCATES AND SUPPORT STAFF OF MIDPENN HANDLED 9,691 CIVIL LAW CASES FOR LOW-INCOME RESIDENTS AND SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN 18 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA ASSISTING 10,958 ADULTS AND 10,353 CHILDREN. THESE SERVICES WERE PROVIDED WITHOUT CHARGE TO THE CLIENTS. MIDPENN'S LEGAL ADVOCATES DEVOTED 89,688 HOURS TO CASES RELATED TO THE LEGAL AREAS OF CONSUMER, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL INTIMIDATION, ELDERLY, EMPLOYMENT, FAMILY, PUBLIC BENEFITS, AND HOUSING LAW, INCLUDING FORECLOSURE.
