THE ANNUAL AND ADDITIONAL MEETINGS PROVIDE ATTENDEES WITH A PROFESSIONAL FORUM FOR THE EXCHANGE OF THE LATEST TECHNICAL INFORMATION IN NUCLEAR MATERIALS MANAGEMENT. THE MEETING ADDRESSES ALL ASPECTS OF NUCLEAR MATERIALS MANAGEMENT WITH PAPERS AND POSTERS ORGANIZED BY THE INMM TECHNICAL PROGRAM COMMITTEE. ALL ATTENDEES, MOSTLY MEMBERS, COMPRISED OF ACEDEMICS, CONSULTANTS, GOVERNMENT CONTRACTORS/EMPLOYEES. LICENSEES, NEWS MEDIA, NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS, NUCLEAR LABORATORIES, PRIVATE INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS, PUBLIC OFFICIALS, PUBLIC UTILITIES AND GRADUATE STUDENTS ATTEND THE MULTI-DAY INMM ANNUAL MEETING. THERE ARE TYPICALLY 60 CONCURRENT EDUCATONAL SESSIONS. PAPERS PRESENTED AT THE ANNUAL MEETING ARE PUBLISHED ONLINE FOR MEMBERS AND MEETING ATTENDEES AND WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR SUBSCRIPTION TO NONMEMBERS IN THE FUTURE.
THE JOURNAL IS PUBLISHED WITH THE PURPOSE OF ADVANCING AND PROMOTING EFFICIENT MANAGEMENT OF NUCLEAR MATERIALS. THE JOURNAL IS PUBLISHED FOUR TIMES A YEAR AND IS DISTRIBUTED TO OVER 1200 MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS.
WORKSHOPS PROVIDE PARTICIPANTS WITH UPDATED INFORMATION ON SPECIFIC TOPICAL AREAS OF NUCLEAR MATERIALS MANAGEMENT INCLUDING GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS AND POLICY DEVELOPMENT, THE STATUS OF TECHNOLOGIES AND PROJECTS, LICENSING OF MANAGEMENT FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT AND THE SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS RELATED TO THE TECHNICAL PROGRAM AREAS. ATTENDEES ACTIVLY PARTICIPATE IN THE DISCUSSIONS AND INTERFACE WITH EXPERTS AS WELL AS WITH PROGRAM MANAGERS AND POLICY MAKES. OVER 100 ATTENDEES ATTENDED VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. PAPERS PRESENTED AT THE WORKSHOP ARE PUBLISHED AND AVAILABLE AFTER THE EVENT.
