PROVIDE THE LEADERSHIP AND RESOURCES NECESSARY TO PROTECT AND RESTORE THE OUTSTANDING NATURAL VALUES OF THE LITTLE MIAMI AS A NATIONAL WILD AND SCENIC RIVER, AND STATE SCENIC RIVER, AND IMPLEMENT THE LITTLE MIAMI CONSERVANCY VISION.

THE ORGANIZATION HAS A FULL TIME DIRECTOR AND ADDITIONAL STAFF WHO WORK WITH LAND OWNERS AS WELL AS LOCAL, STATE AND FEDERAL AGENCIES ON THE PRESERVATION, SCENIC BEAUTY, CLEANLINESS, AND RECREATIONAL USE OF THE LITTLE MIAMI RIVER CORRIDOR.EXPENSES SUPPORTING PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDE WAGES, TRAVEL, PAYROLL TAXES, UTILITIES, TELEPHONE, SUPPLIES, LAND MAINTENANCE, REAL ESTATE TAX AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS COSTS.


THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS RELATED TO WILDLIFE HABITATION ALONG THE RIVER, WATER QUALITY AND LIFE WITHIN THE RIVER. FISHING CLINICS, WATER QUALITY TESTING AND CLEANUP OF DEBRIS IN AND ALONG THE RIVER WERE PERFORMED THORUGH OUT THE YEAR.


FOR LAND OR CONSERVATION EASEMENTS, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES EROSION CONTROL, WETLANDS PRESERVATION AS WELL AS PLANTS, TREES, AND GRASSES TO PRESERVE THE NATURAL BEAUTY, HABITATION AND ECOSYSTEM OF THE RIVER.
