OUTPATIENT COUNSELING - THIS DEPARTMENT PROVIDES MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT SERVICES TO RESIDENTS OF LICKING COUNTY AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES. SERVICES INCLUDE INDIVIDUAL THERAPY, COUPLES THERAPY, FAMILY THERAPY AND GROUP THERAPY.
NEW BEGINNINGS - ESTABLISHED IN 1983, THE CENTER FOR NEW BEGINNINGS SHELTER AND SERVICES PROVIDE SAFE EMERGENCY SHELTER TO VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND THEIR CHILDREN. THE FACILITY HAS THE CAPACITY TO SHELTER 26 WOMEN AND CHILDREN, WITH AN AVERAGE STAY OF 45 DAYS.
OUTREACH - 1) SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY ANGER MANAGEMENT GROUPS FOR YOUTH IDENTIFIED AS HAVING A HISTORY OF HIGH RISK OF DEVELOPING UNHEALTHY ANGRY BEHAVIOR. 2) AGENCY-BASED ANGER MANAGEMENT GROUPS FOR ADULTS WHO WANT TO IMPROVE THEIR ABILITY TO MANAGE ANGER. 3) HELPING CHILDREN SUCCEED AFTER DIVORCE SEMINAR AS REQUIRED BY LICKING COUNTY DOMESTIC RELATIONS COURT FOR ALL PARENTS WITH MINOR-AGED CHILDREN SEEKING DIVORCE OR DISSOLUTION. 4) DOMESTIC VIOLENCE GROUPS FOR ADULTS WHO ARE IDENTIFIED AS HAVING A HISTORY OF OR ARE AT RISK TO COMMIT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. 5) PARENT EDUCATION GROUP FOR PARENTS IDENTIFIED AS GOING THROUGH A HIGH-CONFLICT DIVORCE.
