SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM PROVIDED NUTRICIOUS MEALS TO CHILDREN AGES 18 AND UNDER TO OVER 40 SITES IN MARION, DILLON, FLORENE, AND DARLINGTON COUNTIES IN THE SUMMER.


AFTERSCHOOL AND SUMMER PROGRAM OPERATES 5 DAYS A WEEK, MONDAY - FRIDAY AND PROVIDES STUDENTS WITH ENRICHMENT CLASSES SUCH AS DANCE, ART, MUSIC, DRAMA, SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, AND FITNESS. STUDENTS ALSO RECEIVE HOMEWORK HELP AND SMALL GROUP TUTORING IN AN EFFORT TO IMPROVE REPORT CARD GRADES AND STANDARDIZED TEST SCORES TO THE STUDENTS OF MARION COUNTY.


PASA PARTNERED WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES TO PROVIDE THE CHILD AND ADULT CARE FOOD PROGRAM. THIS ALLOWS US TO FEED OUT CHILDREN A NUTRIOUS SNACK AND SUPPER AFTER SCHOOL.
