YAD CHESSED FUND, INC. PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS BY PAYING FOR NECESSITIES SUCH AS FOOD, HOUSING, UTILITIES, AND OTHER ESSENTIALS. PAYMENTS FOR SUCH ESSENTIALS ARE MADE ON BEHALF OF CLIENTS TO THIRD PARTY PAYEES. YAD CHESSED ALSO SENDS SUPERMARKET GIFT CARDS DIRECTLY TO CLIENTS FACING FOOD INSECURITY. YAD CHESSED SOCIAL WORKERS ASSESS EACH CLIENT'S INDIVIDUAL'S NEEDS AND OFFER GUIDANCE, ADVICE AND REFERRALS TO OTHER AGENCIES AS APPROPRIATE.
