COMMUNITY NAVIGATION - BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN RESETTLEMENT AND SELF- SUFFICIENCY, CAO NAVIGATORS PROVIDE RESOURCES AND LINKS TO SYSTEMS IN THE U.S. INCLUDING EDUCATION, HOUSING, HEALTHCARE AND EMPLOYMENT. EDUCATION - IN ORDER TO BUILD THE LANGUAGE SKILLS NECESSARY FOR SELF- SUFFICIENCY, CAO PROVIDES WEEKDAY AND WEEKEND CLASSES FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS (ELL/ESL) AS WELL AS A ROBUST CITIZENSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT - FOLLOWING RESETTLEMENT, CAO PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOCAL INTEGRATION BY BUILDING, SUPPORTING AND STRENGTHENING OUR REFUGEE COMMUNITIES THROUGH COMMUNITY ORGANIZING AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT.
