THE CENTER FOR THE STUDY OF NEW TESTAMENT MANUSCRIPTS' (CSNTM) CORE PROGRAM IS THE DIGITIZATION OF NEW TESTAMENT MANUSCRIPTS. IN 2022, CSNTM CONDUCTED ADVANCE TRIPS TO SEVERAL LOCATIONS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM. CSNTM ALSO DIGITIZED MANUSCRIPTS AT THE MUSEUM OF THE BIBLE IN WASHINGTON, DC AND LAMBETH PALACE LIBRARY IN LONDON. CSNTM BEGAN A LONG-TERM PROJECT TO DIGITIZE MORE THAN 1,800 ROLLS OF MICROFILM CONTAINING NT MANUSCRIPTS AND OTHER EARLY CHRISTIAN WRITINGS. WE WILL ALSO DIGITIZE THEIR COLLECTION OF HISTORIC DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THE INTERNATIONAL GREEK NEW TESTAMENT PROJECT (IGNTP.)
CSNTM FULFILLED ITS ACADEMIC AND EDUCATIONAL MISSION IN THREE AREAS. (1) IN 2022, CSNTM STAFF SUBMITTED PAPERS FOR PRESENTATION AT TWO ACADEMIC CONFERENCES. (2) IN 2022, FOUR STUDENTS COMPLETED THEIR ACADEMIC INTERNSHIPS, INCLUDING THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND TWO ACADEMIC CONFERENCES. (3) IN 2022, CSNTM CONTINUED TO COLLECT LITERARY RESOURCES FOR ITS NEW TESTAMENT TEXTUAL CRITICISM LIBRARY. AND (4), BEGAN WRITING EDUCATIONAL CONTENT FOR OUR LARGE AUDIENCE OF NON-SCHOLARS.
CSNTM PROVIDES FREE ACCESS TO IMAGES OF GREEK NEW TESTAMENT MANUSCRIPTS WITH THE PERMISSION OF THE INSTITUTE THAT OWNS THE PHYSICAL DOCUMENT. IN 2022, ALL NEWLY DIGITIZED MANUSCRIPTS WERE MADE AVAILABLE ON CSNTM'S WEBSITE AS WELL AS OTHERS MADE PUBLICLY AVAILABLE BY THE OWNERS. BY THE END OF 2022, MORE THAN 2,100 IMAGE SETS OF MANUSCRIPTS WERE MADE AVAILABLE ON THE CSNTM WEB SITE. ADDITIONALLY, CSNTM BEGAN THE ARDUOUS PROCESS OF REDESIGNING ITS DATABASE AND WEBSITE TO ACCOMMODATE A BROADER RANGE OF RELEVANT NEW TESTAMENT RESOURCES.
