THE CONTINUING EDUCATION AND DISSEMINATION OF RESEARCH AND INFORMATION IN THE FIELD OF MASS SPECTROMETRY AND ALLIED TOPICS. APPROXIMATELY 7,000 SCIENTIST MEMBERS ARE INVOLVED IN RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT.

Part 3 - Line 4a

ANNUAL CONFERENCE ON MASS SPECTROMETRY FOR THE PRESENTATION OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT. INCLUDES APPROXIMATELY 7,000 SCIENTISTS, 3,000 SCIENTIFIC PRESENTATIONS AND 384 TALKS. THIS CONFERENCE INCLUDES A ROSTER OF PRE-CONFERENCE CONTINUING EDUCATION SHORT COURSES AND EVENING WORKSHOPS HOSTED BY INTEREST GROUPS.


THE FALL WORKSHOP: CONDUCTED ANNUALLY, PROVIDES TUTORIAL TRAINING IN EMERGING TECHNOLOGY AND ACCOMMODATES 70-125 PARTICIPANTS ANNUALLY. ASILOMAR CONFERENCE ON MASS SPECTROMETRY: ANNUAL FORUM FOR THE EXCHANGE OF HIGHLY SPECIALIZED RESEARCH. ATTENDANCE IS TYPICALLY 100-140 PARTICIPANTS ANNUALLY. WINTER CONFERENCE: ANNUAL FORUM FOR THE EXCHANGE OF HIGHLY SPECIALIZED RESEARCH REGARDING TOPICS OF CURRENT INTEREST. LIMITED TO 150 PARTICIPANTS ANNUALLY.
