THE ORGANIZATION ALSO STRIVES TO EDUCATE PEOPLE ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP AND, IN THAT CAPACITY, SERVE AS A SOURCE OF INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC REGARDING SUCH ISSUES AS LOW COST SPAYING/NEUTURING AND THE STEPSS TO REPORTING ANIMAL CRUELTY.
