"GAS ON PURPOSE" IS OUR ANNUAL FREE GAS GIVEAWAY TO THE WILMINGTON COMMUNITY HELD AT THE FAMILY FARE SHELL GAS STATION LOCATED AT 1032 MARKET ST. $8,000 OF GAS WAS GIVEN AWAY THAT SERVED OVER 400 VEHICLES ACCOUNTING FOR HUNDREDS OF LOCAL HOUSEHOLDS.
*TOUCH A LIFE OUTREACH - MEETING THE PHYSICAL AND MATERIAL NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY THROUGH VARIOUS FREE GIVEAWAYS AND VOLUNTEER EVENTS. SUCH AS FREE SCHOOL SUPPLIES, FREE HAIRCUTS, AND MONETARY SUPPORT DURING THE FINANCIAL CRISIS. ALSO PROVIDING HEATERS TO ELDERLY INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE ON A FIXED INCOME AND OFFER FREE LAWN MAINTENANCE. *GROCERIES ON PURPOSE -SUPPLYING FAMILIES WITH GIFT CARDS TO LOCAL GROCERY STORES TO HELP WITH FOOD INSECURITY.
