TO ACCOMPLISH OUR MISSION IN 2022 WE HAVE CONTINUED TO SERVE CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES IN OUR COMMUNITIES AND BEYOND. WE HAD FAMILIES VISIT THE RANCH FROM ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES, CANADA AND MEXICO. WE HELD DAILY RIDING SESSIONS FROM APRIL 1 THROUGH OCTOBER 31, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. WE HAD OUR FIRST INTERN COME AND SERVE AT THE RANCH FROM JUNE THROUGH AUGUST. WE ALSO HELD OUR FIRST WOMEN'S RETREAT AT THE RANCH. WE HELD A WEEK LONG SUMMER CAMP IN JUNE AND A FUN DAY AND AWARDS IN THE FALL TO CELEBRATE THE 2022 SEASON. WE HAVE STUDENTS COME FROM GRAND ISLAND ON A WEEKLY VISIT TO THE RANCH DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR AND HAVE SEEN MANY POSITIVE CHANGES IN THEIR LIVES. WE HELD OUR ANNUAL STAFF TRAINING IN THE SPRING AND MEET WEEKLY FOR PRAYER, BIBLE STUDY AND HORSE LESSONS. WE GRIEVED THE LOSS OF ONE OF OUR VOLUNTEERS TO CANCER AND ONE OF THE FAVORITE HORSES. WE WELCOMED ONE NEW VOLUNTEER AND MANY NEW CHILDREN TO THE RANCH. WE RECEIVED A GRANT FOR A SHELTER FOR THE HORSES AND WERE ABLE TO HAVE THAT IN PLACE IN NOVEMBER BEFORE THE COLD WINTER SET IN. WHAT A BLESSING THIS HAS BEEN FOR THE HORSES. WE WORKED WITH 26 OTHER NON-PROFIT PHILANTHROPIC PARTNERS FOR A COUNTY WIDE ANNUAL GIVING DAY.
