Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE CLUB WAS ABLE TO ADAPT TO COVID 19 PROTOCOLS IN PLACE AROUND THE STATE AND HOLD MOST OF OUR USUAL EVENTS IN 2021. THE AGILITY TRIALS EARLIER IN THE YEAR HAD TO BE SCALED BACK, BUT STILL MANAGED TO PROVIDE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR THOSE WHO WANTED TO ATTEND. BY LATER IN THE YEAR, MOST OF THE RESTRICTIONS HAD BEEN LIFTED, SO EVENTS ON THE SCHEDULE IN THE FALL TOOK PLACE AS NORMAL. THE FIELD TRAINING GROUP WAS ABLE TO SET UP ACCESS TO PROPERTY FOR SOME PRACTICES ON SATURDAYS DURING THE SUMMER. THERE WAS ALSO A SEMINAR HELD WITH A PROFESSIONAL FIELD TRAINER TO TEACH ADVANCED FIELD TRAINING TECHNIQUES. THERE ARE PLANS TO CONTINUE THESE EVENTS IN 2022. THE CLUB CONTINUED TO HONOR THOSE MEMBERS WHO HAD ACHIEVED CERTAIN ACCOMPLISHMENTS BY HOLDING AN OUTDOOR PICNIC AT A MEMBER'S HOUSE WHERE ANNUAL TROPHIES WERE DISTRIBUTED. THE DAY ALSO PROVIDED AN OPPORTUNITY FOR CLUB MEMBERS TO PRACTICE THEIR OBEDIENCE AND CONFORMATION HANDLING SKILLS. THE FIRST TWO DAY OBEDIENCE/RALLY TRIAL WAS HELD IN MARCH. AN INDOOR SOCCER ARENA WAS USED AS THE FACILITY, WHICH PROVIDED EXCELLENT FLOORING AND SATISFIED THE ONGOING DEMAND FOR EVENTS OF THIS TYPE THAT ARE HELD INDEPENDENT OF BIG DOG SHOWS WHERE MANY ACTIVITIES MAY BE GOING ON AT ONCE. IN 2022 A REVIEW OF THE CLUB'S BYLAWS AND POLICIES IS PLANNED TO REFINE THE DETAILS OF HOW THE CLUB CONDUCTS ITS BUSINESS.

THE AWARDS BANQUET HELD IN THE SPRING DISTRIBUTES TROPHIES IN VARIOUS CATEGORIES TO HONOR THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF CLUB MEMBERS FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR.
