RISSE PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL, AND TECHNICAL SUPPORTS TO RECENT REFUGEES AND IMMIGRANTS. OUR PURPOSE IS TO ASSIST IN CREATING LIVES THAT ARE SAFE, SATISFYING AND SUSTAINABLE. RISSE IS THE ONLY ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE, YEAR-ROUND ENGLISH LITERACY SERVICES FOR ADULTS AND YOUTH IN THE REGION. RISSE SERVES OVER 200 FAMILIES A YEAR WITH EMPLOYMENT PREPARATION, HOUSING, ASSISTANCE WITH RECEIVING FOOD/FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, ACCESSING MEDICAL CARE, ACCESS TO IMMIGRATION/LEGAL SERVICES, AND MORE TO HELP THEM SUCCESSFULLY TRANSITION INTO THEIR NEW LIVES HERE IN THE UNITED STATES.RISSE ALSO PROVIDES CITIZENSHIP/CIVIC CLASSES SO OUR CLIENTS WOULD HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF US HISTORY AND GOVERNMENT PRIOR TO RECEIVING CITIZENSHIP
