VERMONT WRITING COLLABORATIVE - NON-PROFIT NARRATIVE 2022 AGAIN THIS YEAR, WE WERE UNABLE TO OFFER THE IN-PERSON CONFERENCE DUE TO THE PANDEMIC. MOST OF OUR WORK INVOLVED WRITING A TEACHERS GUIDE FOR OUR NEW HANDBOOK FOR WRITING FOR UNDERSTANDING INSTRUCTION, K-12, ENTITLED MAKING IT WORK. WE HAVE COMPLETED THE PROJECT AND IT IS NOW PRINTED AND READY TO BE USED. IT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO PEOPLE FOR FREE OF CHARGE FROM OUR WEBSITE, INCLUDING SCORING CHECKLISTS AND NEW BENCHMARKS, AND COMPREHENSIVE WRITING RUBRICS. OUR NEWSLETTER NOW REACHES OVER 2,000 PEOPLE. FINANCIAL STATEMENT AT THE END OF 2022, THE VERMONT WRITING COLLABORATIVE HAD 19,987.91. THE INCOME WE GENERATED WAS FROM SELLING BOOKS (WRITING FOR UNDERSTANDING) VIA AMAZON AND OUR WEBSITE.
