BREAST IMAGING SERVICES IN COLLABORATION WITH LOCAL HOSPITALS AND HEALTH CLINICS, SCREENING AND DIAGNOSTIC MAMMOGRAMS, BREAST ULTRASOUNDS, OFFICE VISITS, AND BIOPSIES ARE PERFORMED THROUGH OUR PARTNER SITES WITH THE COST BEING INCURRED COMPLETELY BY WOMEN ROCK, INC.
MEDICAL ACCOUNTS AND "PROVISIONS OF HOPE" PROGRAM PROVIDES MONETARY ASSISTANCE TO CLIENTS WHO HAVE LOST THEIR NORMAL INCOME WHILE GOING THROUGH BREAST CANCER TREATMENTS. THIS PROGRAM ALLOWS TO HELP WITH PAYING SOME OF THEIR BILLS (CAR PAYMENTS, RENT, HOUSE PAYMENTS, UTILITIES AND OTHER NECESSITIES).
OTHER SERVICES INCLUDE SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS AND ACTIVITIES, BREAST HEALTH AND EARLY DETECTION EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT. HOPE AND SUPPORT SERVICES TO BOTH RECENT AND LONG TERM CANCER VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
OTHER PROGRAM EXPENSES INCLUDE DEPRECIATION AND OTHER SMALLER COSTS NECESSARY TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO BOTH TYPES OF INDIVIDUAL SERVICED BY THE ORGANIZATION: 1. TO PREVENT BREAST CANCER OR DETECT EARLY BY ASSISTING WITH MAMMOGRAMS, AND, 2. TO ASSIST THOSE WHO, UNFORTUNATELY, HAVE BREAST CANCER AND THE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE DISEASE. EXAMPLES OF THESE SMALLER COSTS WOULD BE SMALL OFFICE SUPPLIES, SUCH AS PENS, CLIPBOARDS, AND COPIES FOR APPLICATIONS, ETC.
