AFTER SCHOOL ACADEMY CONTINUE TO DO WELL IN SCHOOL AND MOVE ON TO THE NEXT GRADE LEVEL. PROVIDE LAUNCH YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIES. WE CONTINUED TO DEVELOP OUR PROGRAMS AND CURRICULUM TO MEET THE NEEDS OF OUR KIDS. OUR YOUTH CENTER WAS FULLY OPERATIONAL FOR THE FIRST TIME. FUNDS TO SUPPORT PROGRAMS AND PROGRAM STAFF, STAFF DEVELOPMENT, SHIPPING AND STORAGE OF DONATED ITEMS FOR THE CHILDREN FROM THE U.S. OTHERS INCLUDE FUNDS TO SUPPORT DAILY PROGRAMS. OVER 94% OF OUR KIDS MOVED TO THE NEXT GRADE LEVEL AND OVER 50,000 MEALS SERVED IN 2023.
COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMS- OUR ENTREPRENEUR EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM CONTINUES TO PROVIDE RESOURCES AND SUPPORT FOR 250 ENTREPREURS. WE OPENED OUR VERY FIRST ENTREPRENEUR HUB IN NIGERIA. RAN YOUTH BASKETBALL AND EMPOWERMENT CAMPS, FOR 400 YOUTH, VBS TO THE COMMUNITY, PROVIDED FOOR OVER THE CHRISTMAS SEASON, TOOK TEAMS FROM THE U.S. TO SHARE EXPERTISE WITH NIGERIAN TEAM AS WELL. WE SUPPORTED THE IDP CAMP WITH FOOD SUPPLIES WHILE THEY FIND NEW LIFE SINCE BEING ATTACHED BY BOKO HARAM.WE PROVIDED HOLIDAY GIVING SUPPORT BY FEEDING 800 FAMILIES FOR TWO WEEKS OVER THE HOLIDAYS.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS FOR NIGERIAN AND U.S. SCHOLARS. SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 60+ YOUTH IN NIGERIA TO CONTINUE THEIR UNIVERSITY EDUCATION. STUDENTS STUDYING IN THE U.S. CONTINUED TO RECIEVE SUPPORTS. WE HELD OUR FIRST WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP TO HELP PREPARE OUR SCHOLARS FOR THE WORKFORCE. OUR KIDS IN NIGERIA AND THE U.S. CONTUNUE TO EXCEL IN THEIR CHOSEN FIELDS OF STUDY.
