LYNDEN SCHOOL DISTRICT:FUNDING SUPPORT FOR FULL-TIME MENTOR COORDINATORS ON SITE AT LYNDEN MIDDLE SCHOOL AND LYNDEN HIGH SCHOOL. MENTOR COORDINATORS, SCREEN, TRAIN, MATCH AND SUPERVISE VOLUNTEER MENTORS. THEY ALSO SCREEN AND MATCH STUDENTS WITH MENTORS AND SUPPORT THE ONGOING DEVELOPMENT OF THE RELATIONSHIP. MENTORS MEET WITH STUDENTS FOR ONE HOUR EACH WEEK ON CAMPUS. MENTORS AFFIRM AND SUPPORT STUDENTS IN NAVIGATING RELATIONSHIPS AND THE CHALLENGES THEY FACE.
