THE PURPOSE OF MARCELLAS COMMUNITY SAFEHOUSE INC IS TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO GIRLS IN NEED OF ROOM BOARD AND BASIS TO MAXIMUM WATCHFUL OVERSIGHT WHILE PROVIDING CONSITENCY, REGULAR PARENTING ACTIVITIES, SAFE ENVIROMENT, AND A LOVING AND STABLE HOME. WE SERVE GIRLS THAT MAY HAVE BEEN ABUSED PHYSICALLY, NEGLECTED, AND/OR EXPLOITED. MOST GIRLS WE SERVE HAVE EMOTIONAL AND OR BEHAVIOR PROBLEMS, WHICH INTERFERE WITH THEIR ABILITY TO FUNCTION IN THE FAMILY, SCHOOL, AND/OR COMMUNITY. SOME GIRLS MAY HAVE MEDICAL NEEDS. MARCELLAS COMMUNITY SAFEHOUSE FOCUS IS TO PROVIDE CONSISTENCY AND REGULAR PARENTING TYPE ACTIVITIES WITH GUIDANCE AND SUPERVISION NEEDED TO ENHANCE SOCIAL SKILLS AND ENSURE EMOTIONAL, PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING.
