DRIVER IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMS: THESE PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO ENCOURAGE SAFE AND COURTEOUS DRIVING HABITS BY ENHANCING DEFENSIVE DRIVING ABILITIES AND AWARENESS. BEHIND-THE-WHEEL TRAINING DEVELOPS THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS NECESSARY TO SAFELY, LEGALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DRIVE A MOTOR VEHICLE WITH A VALID LICENSE, WITH AN EMPHASIS ON PROPER DECISION MAKING AND RISK MANAGEMENT SKILLS. IN 2021, WE TAUGHT 2,888 HOW TO DRIVE, WE ADMINISTERED 2,566 DRIVER LICENSE TESTS, WE TRAINED 1,408 IN LIVE DEFENSIVE DRIVING CLASSES, 15,689 IN ONLINE DEFENSIVE DRIVER TRAINING, AND WE TRAINED 86 DRIVING INSTRUCTORS.
DUI LEVEL 1, LEVEL 2, AND SPECIAL SUPERVISION SERVICES: CLASSROOM TEACHING, PROFESSIONAL PSYCHO-SOCIAL EVALUATION SERVICES AND BEHAVIOR MONITORING SERVICES TO CHANGE THE BEHAVIOR OF OFFENDERS, THEREBY REDUCING THE RISK OF FUTURE DUI RELATED ARRESTS, INJURIES AND DEATHS. EACH CLIENT IS HELPED TO UNDERSTAND THE ISSUES AND FACTORS RELATED TO RISK REDUCTION. IN 2021, 4,860 CLIENTS RECEIVED THESE SERVICES.
OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY INSTITUTE: RESOURCING COMMERCIAL ORGANIZATIONS THROUGH MEMBERSHIP AND THROUGH SAFETY TRAINING DESIGNED TO MEET OSHA STANDARDS IN THE WORKPLACE. WE OFFER OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTICIPANTS TO SHARE IDEAS, PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS. IN 2021, WE SERVED 148 CORPORATE MEMBERS ORGANIZATIONS AND TRAINED 275 PARTICIPANTS IN OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY.
MONITORING AND TESTING SERVICES: WE MONITORED 34 CLIENTS FOR DRUG USE AND 159 FOR ALCOHOL USE, AND PROCTERED TESTING FOR 2,000 CLIENTS.YOUTH RELATED PROGRAMS: WE TRAINED 3 IN JUNVENILE ANGER MANAGEMENT, 8 IN JUVENILE IMPULSE CONTROL, SHOPLIFTING AND PETTY THEFT, AND 116 IN JUNVENILE OFFENDER LIFE TRAINING. ADULT BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS: WE TRAINED 184 IN ANGER MANAGEMENT AND 201 ADULTS IN IMPULSE CONTROL, SHOPLIFTING AND PETTY THEFT. VICTIM AWARENESS PROGRAM: 2,793 DRIVERS WERE INTRODUCED TO THE REALITIES OF HOW IRRESPONSIBLE DRIVING IMPACTS THE COMMUNITY, VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
