THE FRASER VALLEY HOCKEY ASSOCIATION (FVHA) IS A NON-PROFIT, 501(C)(3) CORPORATION THAT ENJOYS AN AFFILIATION AGREEMENT WITH THE COLORADO AMATEUR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION (CAHA) AND USA HOCKEY. FVHA CONDUCTS ITS PROGRAM AT THE "ICEBOX" ICE RINK LOCATED IN THE FRASER VALLEY SPORTS COMPLEX AND GOVERNS BOTH YOUTH AND ADULT HOCKEY PROGRAMS. ALL YOUTH TEAMS ARE REGISTERED WITH USA HOCKEY AND TRAVELING YOUTH PROGRAMS ARE REGISTERED WITH CAHA. OUR YOUTH PROGRAM HAS ADOPTED USA HOCKEY'S AMERICAN DEVELOPMENT MODEL (ADM) AS THE GUIDING PRINCIPLE FOR PLAYER DEVELOPMENT. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE FRASER VALLEY RECREATION DISTRICT, PARENTS AND COACHES, WE STRIVE TO PROVIDE OUR CHILDREN A RESPONSIBLE, ENJOYABLE, CHALLENGING AND SAFE HOCKEY EXPERIENCE. WE ARE AN ATHLETE-CENTERED ORGANIZATION THAT PLACES THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN FIRST. WE GIVE EACH MEMBER THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE AND DEVELOP AS AN ATHLETE TO THE BEST OF THEIR ABILITY WITHOUT PREJUDICE. TOGETHER, WE AIM TO CULTIVATE THE PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING OF ALL MEMBERS IN AN ENVIRONMENT THAT PROMOTES A SENSE OF COMMUNITY. FVHA IS GUIDED BY THE VALUES OF GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, HONESTY, RESPECT FOR ALL INDIVIDUALS AND PERSONAL INTEGRITY.
