TO BE A MULTI-ETHNIC MUTUAL ASSISTANCE ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES AN ARRAY OF SERVICES REQUIRED BY DIVERSE REFUGEE AND IMMIGRANT COMMUNITIES THAT HELP NEWCOMERS TO UNDERSTAND AND NAVIGATE THE SYSTEMS THAT ARE PART OF EVERYDAY LIFE.

REFUGEE CASE MANAGEMENT: OUR CASE MANAGERS PROVIDE A WIDE RANGE OF SERVICES TO INDIVIDUAL REFUGEES AND FAMILIES, INCLUDING ASSISTANCE WITH EMPLOYMENT, HOUSING, ACCESSING PUBLIC BENEFITS, CARE FOR THE ELDERLY, ACCESSING THE LEGAL SYSTEM, DEALING WITH DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, NATURALIZATION, AND EDUCATION


PROVIDED ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE, MENTAL HEALTH CARE, AND VACCINATIONS. OUR CASE MANAGERS AND COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS WERE AMONG THE LEADERS IN ENCOURAGING REFUGEES TO GET VACCINATED AGAINST COVID. STAFF ALSO ASSISTED REFUGEES SEEKING OR NEEDING MEDICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH CARE.


REFUGEE EDUCATION AND TRAINING: STAFF TAUGHT ENGLISH AND AMERICAN CIVICS TO OLDER REFUGEES TO PREPARE THEM FOR CITIZENSHIP. THEY ALSO PROVIDED LINKS BETWEEN SCHOOLS AND REFUGEE PARENTS OF CHILDREN IN SCHOOL, AND GAVE FOCUSED SUPPORT TO REFUGEE CHILDREN WITH CHRONIC HEALTH CONDITIONS OR LEARNING DISABILITIES
