WE HONOR THE LEGACY OF JACKSON AND LYDIA CLEMMONS, AND ARE CENTERED AT AND STEWARD THEIR FAMILY FARM IN CHARLOTTE-- ONE OF THE RARE AFRICAN AMERICAN OWNED FARMS IN VERMONT. THE 148-ACRE WORKING FARM INCLUDES PRIME AGRICULTURAL LAND OF STATE IMPORTANCE, 60 ACRES OF OPEN SPACE, 60 ACRES OF FOREST AND WOODLANDS, AND 6 HISTORIC BUILDINGS. IT IS ONE OF THE 0.4% OF FARMS IN THE US THAT REMAIN AFRICAN AMERICAN OWNED.

ON FARM PROGRAMMING AND EVENTS THAT UPHOLD THE ORGANIZATION MISSION TO PRESERVE AND MAINTAIN THE HISTORIC FARM, EMPOWER A NETWORK OF VERMONT'S ARTISTS WITH EXPERTISE IN AFRICAN DIASPORA ARTS AND CULTURE.


TRIPLE-NET LEASE AND STEWARDSHIP PROGRAMS AND SERVICES. THE TRIPLE NET LEASE SUPPORTS THE PRESERVATION AND STEWARDSHIP OF THE CLEMMONS FARM AND ITS USE BY ARTISTS, COMMUNITY MEMBERS, OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, AND K-12 SCHOOLS DURING SCHEDULED ARTS AND CULTURE PROGRAMS AND EVENTS.


HEALTH AND WELLNESS ARTS PROGRAMS. THIS WORK INCLUDED THE BENEATH OUR SKIN COVID 19 VACCINATION STORYTELLING PROJECT FUNDED BY VERMONT DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, AND THE BLACK & BLISS WELLNESS ARTS PROJECT FUNDED BY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH NETWORK OF VERMONT DBA VERMONT CARE NETWORK. FUNDS ARE MAINLY USED TO PAY ARTIST FEES, CONSULTANT FEES, PROGRAM MANAGEMENT FEES AND STIPENDS FOR STORYTELLING PARTICIPANTS.
