CHARM STANDS FOR THE CENTER FOR HARD TO RECYCLE MATERIALS. IT IS A PERMANENT DROP-OFF FACILITY THAT AIMS TO IMPROVE OUR ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH BY ENCOURAGING REUSE AND DIVERTING THOUSANDS OF POUNDS OF HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE, BULK TRASH AND OTHER HARD TO RECYCLE ITEMS FROM METRO-ATLANTA LANDFILLS AND WATER SYSTEMS. CHARM WAS AWARDED THE SOUTH FACE FULCRUM AWARD AND THE KEEP GEORGIA BEAUTIFUL WASTE REDUCTION AWARD IN 2018, AND LIVE THRIVE'S EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR RECEIVED THE 2018 KEEP GEORGIA BEAUTIFUL WOMEN OF THE YEAR AWARD.
OUR ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS MANAGEMENT THROUGH SCHOOL, BUSINESS, AND NEIGHBORHOOD PROJECTS.
